Lovechild has a small board review all submissions. Our journal publishes writing limited to a single page, but multiple previously unpublished, one-page submissions are fine. Send all correspondence, including poems, short shorts, flash fiction, letters, dialog, or other ideas to the above email address. Please let us know if your work gets accepted elsewhere. We will have rolling submissions, as our journal appears bi-annually. If sending work as an attachment, please send as a single Word .doc file. We cannot open odd file types, including Works documents. Please send submissions for cover artwork as jpegs.

Include your contact information in the body of the email, and please review the content posted on the main page to get a feel for what we're looking for.

We do not pay for work published but will give several contributor copies. We also hold readings in the Fargo area to promote each new issue, so any contributors are invited to attend.

NOTE: We are currently accepting submissions until November 17 for the third issue. Lovechild receives a lot of poetry (which we love), but feel free to send other genres, as well... (letters, excerpts, short shorts, dialog, articles...)
